Each student will give a 30-minute presentation on visual storytelling to the whole class.
You may choose the topic of your own interest, for example, the ancient symbols, history of symbol, storytelling tactics, or your favorite designer or artist who is successful in storytelling.
Use this presentation to share your thoughts and ideas with the rest of the class. Don’t use the 30 minutes to show us somebody’s online video*. We want to hear from you. Try to make some valuable points to inspire us.
Design your presentation using storytelling techniques. Simon Sinek gave some very good advices in his class “Presentation Essentials: How to Share Ideas That Inspire Action”. Make sure you do watch it before putting your thoughts together.
I will provide a sign-up sheet.
You should upload your presentation file onto OneDrive on the day of your presentation.
You presentation will be evaluated based on both content and delivery. It is about 10% of your total points for this semester.
(* You may provide us the links to online videos so we can check them out at a later time.)
